Kristin Lundy, Mental Performance Coach

Kristin began her coaching career while studying Sport Psychology at Michigan State University. Taking an applied approach to her Graduate School experience, she worked as an Academic Mentor and fell in love with the field of Student-Athlete Academic Support. This led to a 12 year career working as a Learning Specialist and Academic Counselor, providing academic support, skill set development and career counseling to high-profile and at-risk Football and Basketball players at Michigan State (2005-08), Georgia Tech (2008-10), Penn State (2010-13) and University of Maryland (2013-16).

Kristin’s leadership experience was greatly strengthened in these roles, as she provided direct supervision to part-time and full-time staff, along with maintaining day-to-day operations, recruitment, training and oversight of large Tutorial, Mentoring and Academic Coaching Programs. She coordinated summer bridge programs for incoming football student-athletes, which consisted of conducting workshops focused on skill set development, organizing guest presenters, administering assessments and collecting data to categorize students in order to provide proper academic support. Her ability to build relationships was the key to her success and upward mobility within the field. This led to her success with creating, implementing and evaluating comprehensive programs and workshops, as well as building trust with Athletic Administrators, Sport Coaches, Operations and Medical Staffs.

In 2016 Kristin transitioned out of Athletics to launch Klean the Klutter, a Professional Organizing and Personal Coaching business. With this endeavor she has taken her passion for helping people, and her love for teaching and coaching, and connect that to how she lives her life as an innate organizer. She has also been able to achieve her goal of helping her clients live and feel their best in their space, reduce stress, increase productivity and improve focus. Kristin partnered with Rashanna and expanded her services to include consulting with small businesses on how to best streamline and organize their current processes and procedures, along with improving practices in the areas of operations, time management and executing plans.

Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University (2004) and a Master of Science Degree in Sport Psychology from Michigan State University (2007).
